Escape City creates award-winning, highly immersive escape room adventures designed to challenge, excite, and bring people together. Our Escape Hosts are at the center of that experience, helping create memorable visits for every guest who walks through our doors.

As an Escape Host, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience from start to finish. This is a hands-on, fast-paced, and people-focused role that combines customer service, game operations, and facility upkeep.

In addition to in-store operations, Escape Hosts may also assist with Mobile Escape City events and in-school field trips, helping set up, facilitate, and run off-site experiences that bring our games directly to schools, communities, and special events.

General Responsibilities and Duties

- Greet guests upon arrival and provide a friendly, welcoming first impression
- Deliver experience introductions and safety briefings
- Monitor escape room and mobile escape experiences using Escape City systems
- Reset escape rooms accurately and efficiently between groups
- Take bookings via phone and email, including payment processing and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the guest experience




- Serve food and beverages in accordance with provincial and municipal regulations
- Assist with general cleaning and upkeep of the facility
- Support off-site Mobile Escape City events and school field trips as needed
- Perform other duties as reasonably assigned

What We’re Looking For

Previous customer service experience is an asset, but not required. Bottom line: we’re looking for outgoing people with the right attitude and a willingness to learn.

Requirements and Details

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must complete ProServe certification within two weeks of hiring
- Starting wage: $15.50 - $16 per hour
