Position Description

Coordinate and book reservations for members and their guests. Ensure reservations are evenly distributed on the floor plans as well as ensuring the number of reservations do not exceed established service thresholds. Process all takeout orders and ensure accuracy of the order prior to bringing it to the member.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

- Take and confirm reservations via telephone or in person
- Ensure reservations and requests left on voicemail are processed accurately
- Greet and seat members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensure member and guest satisfaction with their dining experience, inquire about their experience upon leaving
- Answer all questions regarding upcoming social events, menu items, features, etc. and clarify unknown answers with the Manager on Duty
- Organize floorplan by the reservations, ensuring requests are accommodated when possible
- Arrange floorplan evenly to ensure servers are not overwhelmed with multiple tables at the same time
- Report any quality or service issues to management immediately
- Assist servers with table duties as required
- Clean and reset tables after members and guests leave as required
- Complete end of night reservation report, ensuring accuracy of all details as prescribed on the report




- Ensure all menus have been wiped and sanitized and that the proper features and marketing materials are in each menu prior distributing them to members and their guests
- Ensure all takeout orders are entered in the system as well as confirming the accuracy of those orders

Qualifications Required

- Positive customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to take initiative
- Good organizational skills
- Must be reliable
- Basic knowledge of Jonas software
- Ability to manage multiple phone lines simultaneously and have excellent phone etiquette
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a dining establishment
