Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Canadian Immigration Case Processing Specialist / Temporary Residence & Work Permit Specialist with 3–4 years of hands-on Canadian immigration case processing experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong practical knowledge of Temporary Residence applications, including Visitor Visas (TRVs), Super Visas, Study Permits, Post-Graduation Work Permits (PGWPs), LMIA-based Work Permits, LMIA-exempt Work Permits, extensions, restorations, and related IRCC applications.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, client-focused, and comfortable managing multiple immigration files in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while ensuring accuracy and compliance with current IRCC requirements and program guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end Temporary Residence applications, including:
- Visitor Visa (TRV) applications
- Super Visa applications
- Study Permit applications and extensions
- Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) applications
- LMIA-based Work Permit applications
- LMIA-exempt Work Permit applications
- Work Permit extensions and related applications
- Visitor Record extensions
- Restoration of status applications
- Other temporary resident applications as required
- Assess client eligibility and develop appropriate application strategies based on current IRCC program requirements.
- Prepare, review, and submit complete and accurate applications through appropriate IRCC portals.
- Prepare and review Statements of Purpose (SOPs), submission letters, client explanations, invitation/support letters, employer letters, and other supporting documentation.
- Review client documents for accuracy, consistency, completeness,



and potential issues before submission.
- Prepare strong and well-organized application packages while ensuring all applicable IRCC forms, supporting documents, and evidence are properly completed and submitted.
- Work on LMIA-exempt work permit categories, including employer-specific and other applicable work permit streams.
- Monitor application status, processing timelines, document requests, biometrics, medical examinations, passport requests, and other IRCC communications.
- Manage extensions, restorations, status-related applications, and other time-sensitive immigration matters, ensuring critical deadlines are properly tracked.
- Communicate directly with clients throughout the application process, provide professional updates, request required documents, and respond to client inquiries.
- Maintain accurate electronic files, case notes, document checklists, and application tracking systems.
- Use MS Office, Excel, Adobe/PDF tools, IRCC portals, Officio and other case-management/document systems extensively.
- Stay informed about changes to IRCC policies, procedures, application requirements, processing instructions, and temporary residence programs.
- Maintain strict confidentiality, professionalism, accuracy, and ethical standards when handling sensitive client and immigration information.

Qualifications




- 3–4 years of Canadian immigration case processing experience is required.
- Hands-on experience with Temporary Residence applications is required.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Visitor Visas (TRV)
- Super Visas
- Study Permits
- PGWP applications
- Work Permits
- LMIA-based Work Permits
- LMIA-exempt Work Permits
- Extensions and restorations
- Visitor Record applications
- Other temporary resident applications
- Knowledge of IRCC forms, online portals, document requirements, and application procedures.
- Strong ability to identify inconsistencies, missing documentation, eligibility concerns, and potential application risks.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Punjabi, Hindi, or Gujarati language skills are an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred/required.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong client-service skills and professional communication.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Preferred Experience

Experience with Canadian immigration case processing, temporary residence applications, work permit files, IRCC portals, document preparation, SOPs, submission letters, and client file management will be considered a strong asset.

Candidates with direct hands-on experience processing Canadian Temporary Residence and Work Permit applications are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
