We're looking for a Red Seal Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) to join our maintenance team at our Halifax manufacturing facility. Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:

- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production and auxiliary equipment.
- Troubleshooting mechanical issues to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
- Repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining industrial machinery according to manufacturer specifications.
- Responding quickly to equipment breakdowns and restoring equipment to safe operating condition.
- Diagnosing mechanical failures and implementing effective long-term solutions.
- Fabricating replacement parts using machine shop equipment when required.




- Installing, relocating, and commissioning production equipment.
- Modifying equipment and machine guarding to improve operational efficiency and workplace safety.
- Working collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Following all company safety procedures and preventative maintenance programs.

Qualifications

When your expertise drives us:

- Red Seal Millwright Certification.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.
- Experience operating machine shop equipment.
- Strong understanding of industrial machinery, mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, conveyors, and power transmission.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- Strong communication and computer skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize work effectively.
- Flexible and willing to work rotating shifts or permanent night shifts as operationally required.
