Adora Bright Pediatric Therapy Services is a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy clinic providing individualized, evidence-based services to children and youth. Our team works collaboratively across ABA, Speech-Language Pathology, and Occupational Therapy to support meaningful skill development, independence, participation, and quality of life.
Instructor Therapist – Children & Youth ABA

Adora Bright is seeking an experienced Instructor Therapist to join our clinical team, with a particular focus on working with children and youth ages 8–14.
This is not an entry-level position. A minimum of 1 year of direct, hands-on ABA therapy experience is required.
About the Role The Instructor Therapist will provide 1:1 and group-based ABA intervention under the supervision of an RBA/BCBA. We are looking for a therapist who can confidently implement established programming while building strong, age-appropriate therapeutic relationships with children and youth.

- Emotional regulation and cognitive flexibility
- Communication and self-advocacy
- Social skills and peer interaction
- Problem-solving
- Planning, organization, and task initiation
- Independence and adaptive skills
- Behaviour regulation and functional replacement skills
Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA programs with fidelity
- Provide direct 1:1 and group intervention
- Collect accurate clinical data and complete session documentation
- Implement reinforcement, prompting/fading, shaping, task analysis, and Natural Environment Teaching
- Implement Functional Communication Training and behaviour-support strategies
- Support emotional regulation, flexibility, independence, and self-advocacy
- Respond appropriately to challenging or unsafe behaviour
- Collaborate with the supervising RBA/BCBA and multidisciplinary team
- Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing training
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of direct ABA therapy experience
- Relevant post-secondary education in Behavioural Science, Autism and Behavioural Science, Psychology, Child and Youth Care, Education, or a related field
- Solid practical knowledge of ABA principles and procedures
- Experience collecting data and implementing individualized treatment programs
- Strong communication, professionalism, reliability, and clinical judgment
- Ability to receive and implement clinical feedback
Preferred Experience
Experience working with children and youth ages 8–14 is strongly preferred.
Additional assets include experience with executive functioning, emotional regulation, group programming, social skills, complex behaviour, assent-based ABA, PFA/SBT, AAC, and interdisciplinary care.
