Turn Your Creativity Into Something RealMedia Arts & Graphics Inc. is looking for a creative, enthusiastic designer to join our fast-paced and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging designer who wants to build a career, work with a diverse range of clients and see their ideas come to life in print and digital formats. Whether you are a recent graduate, completing an internship or starting your first qualified role, we will help you develop your skills and learn the production side of the creative industry.
You will collaborate directly with clients and team members, develop original designs and help produce finished work. If you are adaptable, curious and excited to tackle a new creative challenge each day, we would love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
- Meet with clients to understand their business, branding and print-marketing needs
- Recommend creative approaches that help clients reach their intended audiences
- Design engaging materials for print and digital use
- Present concepts to clients or the art director and clearly explain your creative choices
- Revise artwork based on feedback and prepare final designs for approval
- Prepare accurate, production-ready artwork files
- Produce short-run digital print jobs using approved artwork
- Check completed work for quality, colour, sizing and accuracy
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
- Collaborate with a supportive, hands-on creative and production team
What You’ll Bring
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
- Working knowledge of CorelDRAW
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel,
as well as Google Workspace
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and file-management skills
- Clear communication and customer-service skills
- A positive, adaptable and team-oriented attitude
- A genuine willingness to learn
Valuable Additional SkillsYou do not need to meet every item below to apply. Training may be provided.
- A degree, diploma or certificate in graphic design—or a strong equivalent portfolio
- Previous professional design, freelance or internship experience
- Experience with large-format RIP and digital print-production software
- Familiarity with EFI Fiery Command WorkStation
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS or front-end web design
- Ability to communicate in Punjabi or Hindi
- Experience working directly with clients
