Junior Growth Marketer

Mysh · Feel Good Interactive — Ontario

Full-time, 6-month contract (extension possible) · $30,000 for the term (~$60,000 annualized) · Start: Fall 2026

We've launched Mysh, a creative worldbuilding app for kids 8-11 and their parents who seek healthy screen time. Families are diving in, having played 25,000 minutes in just a few months. We meet them at live events, libraries, STEM clubs and more. Your job is to help us find them at scale through digital programs.

The role

This is a digital growth role for an innovative current product. It's equal parts creative testing, performance marketing, and market analysis. You'll run the experiments that answer the biggest open questions in our go-to-market: who to reach, what makes them click, and what it costs to acquire a family we keep. Your test results become the company's growth playbook and the evidence base for our next stage of funding.

In priority order, you will:

1. Generate hooks and ad creative, and test them relentlessly. Produce a steady pipeline of ad creative (short video, static, UGC-style), run structured hook tests, and iterate weekly on cost and conversion data. We have early winners — real "a kid meets their hero" moments — and you'll build the machine that finds the next ten.
2. Run small-scale media buying on 2–3 platforms. Plan and execute disciplined test campaigns (Meta/Instagram first, then Google Ads and one more), with clean A/B structure, tight budgets, honest readouts, and a clear market-analysis goal: establish our first CAC/CPI baselines and channel economics for a technology-based consumer product.
3. Develop our early influencer and creator program. Identify family and parenting micro-creators, pilot the first partnerships, and build the outreach, briefing, and tracking playbook.
4. Surface community insights. Monitor parent communities online and turn what you observe into insight reports that shape our product roadmap and onboarding.
5. Build the organic engine.

Execute against our validated SEO content lanes so organic growth compounds alongside paid.

The questions you'll own

This is the market-analysis heart of the role. Over six months, your experiments should give us data-backed answers to:

- Which hooks and creatives are resonating?
- What's the quality of the traffic we acquire, by platform and ad type?
- Which characters and art styles are resonating most?
- What's our early CAC/CPI ballpark — and how does it trend as we optimize?
- How does retargeting perform deeper in the acquisition funnel?
- How does paid compare to organic and creator-driven acquisition?

Who we're looking for

- A recent post-secondary graduate (any discipline — marketing, communications, or business is an asset; hustle and curiosity are the requirements)
- Hands-on familiarity with at least one ad platform (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads) — through coursework, a side project, a club, or a job
- Based in Ontario
- Maker energy: you can produce scrappy creative yourself (Canva / CapCut level), not just brief others
- Analytical: comfortable reading a funnel, comparing costs across tests, and writing a clear one-page readout
- Strong pluses: a social account or community you've grown, creator-partnership or community-management experience, SEO basics, French (we're expanding to Quebec)

Program eligibility This position is supported by a federal youth employment program. To be eligible, candidates must, per program criteria:

- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
- Be a post-secondary graduate (university, college, or CEGEP)
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person granted refugee status
- Be legally entitled to work in Ontario
- Not have previously participated in a Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS) work-experience program

What you get

- $30,000 for the 6-month term (~$60,000 annualized) — full-time, T4 employment
- Ownership of the growth experiments at a funded consumer startup, working directly with all four founders
- Real scope: your testing playbook becomes the acquisition engine we scale with our seed round
- Possibility of extension, and of a full-time role as the company grows
