EIPS Is Recruiting a Temporary, Full time (1.0 FTE) Junior High CTF Foods And Commercial Foods Teacher At Clover Bar Junior High.

This Teaching Assignment

Includes

- teaching all Foods & Commercial Foods option classes (CTF double blocks and single block options).
- running and supporting our school Mini Mart.

Clover Bar Junior High serves approximately 485 students in grades 7 to 9, with 23 teaching staff and 11 support staff. The school is located in Sherwood Park, AB. Clover Bar Junior High staff work hard to help students become the best they can be, providing opportunities to be engaged in their learning as well as involved in a variety of extracurricular activities such as art, band, drama, construction, foods, team sports and social activities.

Qualifications

- Commercial food preparation experience an asset.
- Bachelor of Education degree
- Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Effective organization and classroom management skills
- Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Experience or familiarity with analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and/or instruction
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice
- Relentless drive to set and achieve personal and professional goals
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training
- First Aid training would be an asset
