Micro Consulting Sales and Service is a locally trusted retail technology store specializing in computer and cell phone sales, repairs, and technical support. We're looking for a motivated, reliable, and customer-focused Junior In-House IT Technician to join our team.

What You'll Do

- Diagnose and repair desktop computers, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Perform hardware upgrades, software installations, virus removal, and system optimization.
- Assist customers with technical questions and provide excellent customer service.
- Configure new computers, phones, and accessories.
- Troubleshoot Windows, macOS, Android, and iPhone issues.
- Install replacement components such as screens, batteries, SSDs, memory, and other hardware.
- Maintain repair records and keep customers updated on repair progress.
- Help maintain inventory and keep the repair bench organized.
- Continue learning new repair techniques and technologies.

What We're Looking For

- A passion for computers, smartphones, and technology.
- Basic knowledge of PC hardware, Windows operating systems, and mobile devices.




- Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn hands-on repair skills.
- Previous repair experience is an asset but not required—we're happy to train the right candidate.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certificate, diploma, or coursework in Information Technology, Computer Systems, Electronics, or a related field.
- Experience building or repairing computers or mobile devices.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, networking basics, and common software applications.
