Overview of the Role
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Operations Engineer with 5–7 years of IT experience to manage, support, and optimize Azure cloud environments. The role focuses on L2/L3 support, automation, incident management, and infrastructure reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor Azure environments (VMs, storage, networking, databases)
- Handle L2/L3 incidents, service requests, and escalations within SLA
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions
- Provision and manage Azure resources (VMs, VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers)
- Configure backup and disaster recovery using Azure Backup and ASR
- Implement high availability and scaling solutions
- Set up monitoring using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and alerts
- Automate tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and IaC tools
- Ensure security using RBAC, Key Vault, and Defender for Cloud
- Perform patching and vulnerability remediation using update tools
- Collaborate with DevOps, security,
and application teams
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and runbooks
Required Skills
- Solid experience in Azure Compute, Networking, and Storage
- Hands-on with Azure Portal, PowerShell, and Azure CLI
- Experience with Windows Server and basic Linux administration
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
- Must have troubleshooting experience in Windows Operating system.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft Clustering is desirable
- Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow

- AZ-104 Azure Administrator
- AZ-305 Solutions Architect
- AZ-400 DevOps Engineer
- ITIL Foundation
