We are looking for a passionate and experienced Lead Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The Lead ECE will provide classroom leadership while supporting high-quality programming, staff teamwork, child development, and licensing compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead daily classroom operations, routines, and organization.
- Plan and implement engaging, play-based/curriculum learning experiences.
- Mentor and support educators, ECEAs, practicum students, and volunteers.
- Delegate classroom responsibilities and promote teamwork.
- Build positive relationships with children and families.
- Support observations, documentation, and developmental planning.
- Ensure licensing, safety, ratios, supervision, and centre policies are followed.
- Communicate classroom needs and concerns with management.
- Maintain a positive, nurturing, and professional classroom environment.

Qualifications:
- Valid BC ECE Certificate to Practice.
- Current First Aid & CPR.
- Clear Criminal Record Check.




- 2–3 years of licensed childcare experience preferred.
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience is an asset.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.

- Reliable, organized, and able to think on their feet.
- Passionate about early childhood education
- Works well with children, families, educators, and management.

Candidates must be currently residing in BC and available for full-time shifts between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM, Monday–Friday.

Starting wage: $22.00/hour Wage Enhancement, based on experience and qualifications.
