OverviewAt KPMG, you'll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common cause: turning insight into chance for clients and communities around the world.As part of the Financial Reporting team, the Manager – Financial Analysis will prepare reports using Power BI and Excel.They will communicate with internal clients across the country to present their work, discuss new requests, and answerbusiness questions.What you will doReport Creation:Create and modify Power BI reportsCreate financial reports and ad hoc analyses in ExcelReview reports to ensure accuracyCollaboration:Discuss report requirements with end usersMeet with internal clients to answer their business questionsDemonstrate newly created reports to end usersWork with other Financial Reporting team members to solve data problems, build new reports, and discuss improvementsData Management:Use SQL to query databases in Azure Synapse and SQL ServerIdentify data discrepanciesLearning:Research data visualization best practicesDevelop proficiency with Microsoft Azure, Power BI, and ExcelExplore opportunities for increasing efficiency via automation and AI technologyLearn about the business and how to support it with financial informationWhat you bring to the roleExperience creating Power BI reportsAbility to write DAX measuresAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsUndergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, or data scienceExcellent communication skillsConfidence to present work and discuss improvements with end usersAnalytical problem-solving mindsetKPMG Ontario Region Pay Range InformationThe expected base salary range for this position is $74,000 to $111,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications.
