They are seeking a Legal Applications Specialist to join their Matter Lifecycle team and support the integrity, administration, and performance of their legal practice management system. Mostly remote working Opportunity to work closely with Finance, IT, and legal professionals As a Legal Applications Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the firm's legal practice management system by ensuring data accuracy, maintaining client and matter information, administering user access, supporting system users, and contributing to ongoing process improvements. Maintain client, matter, and special rate information, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Validate, reconcile, and perform quality assurance on data imports and exports. Support end users by troubleshooting system-related issues and providing guidance. Collaborate with Finance, IT, and legal teams to resolve data issues and improve processes.

Manage special rate implementation for clients and matters. Maintain and update the special rates database.



Conduct audits to ensure compliance with billing rate guidelines and internal controls. Liaise with vendors to log issues, track enhancements, and support issue resolution.

Support user training and promote best practices across the firm. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with legal applications, enterprise systems, and large volumes of data.

Postsecondary education in a related field (preferred). 3–5 years of experience supporting legal operations, legal applications, financial systems, or data administration. or another legal practice management system (strongly preferred).

Experience with legal systems administration, user provisioning, or application support. Robust proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy. Knowledge of legal billing processes, client/matter maintenance, or special rate structures is considered an asset.
