Your Opportunity

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level and AHS policies and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. 24-AUG-2026 Temporary Employee Class: Temp P/T Benefits Date Available: 03-SEP-2026 Temporary End Date: 07-JUN-2027 Hours per Shift: 7.75 Length of Shift in weeks: 4 Shifts per cycle: 14 Shift Pattern: Days, Evenings, Weekends Days Off: As Per Rotation Minimum Salary: $33.16 Maximum Salary: $43.42 Vehicle Requirement: Not Applicable

Required Qualifications

Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications

Must be able to work to full scope of practice (physically, mentally and emotionally) on this very busy fast paced Pulmonary Unit. Must be able to push, pull and lift at least 50 lbs.
