Overview

HAHN Plastics Canada Ltd. is looking for a motivated, organized, and dependable Logistics & Administration Coordinator to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on position that combines logistics, administration, customer service, and day-to-day business support. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying busy, solving problems, and learning different aspects of a growing business.

What You’ll Be Doing A typical day will be divided between logistics and administration.

Logistics responsibilities may include

- Obtaining freight quotes and organizing shipments.
- Coordinating the movement of incoming and outgoing freight.
- Preparing and processing customs documentation.
- Maintaining accurate freight cost data.
- Planning and checking incoming shipments from Europe.
- Preparing customer orders for shipping.
- Communicating with our off-site storage yard.
- Packaging and sending product samples.
- Working with freight carriers, customs brokers, suppliers, and customers to ensure shipments move smoothly.

Administrative and customer service responsibilities may include:
- Responding to incoming emails and Facebook leads using established scripts and processes.
- Answering and directing incoming phone calls.
- Providing general administrative support to the team.
- Supporting marketing initiatives and helping ensure scheduled social media campaigns are running correctly.
- Maintaining accurate records and information.
- Assisting with other day-to-day tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For

- 2+ years of progressive experience in administration, planning, logistics, or a related field.




- A valid driver’s licence and clean driving record are required.
- Forklift certification and experience operating a forklift are considered an asset.
- Previous experience with shipping and receiving.
- Experience completing shipping and logistics paperwork, including customs documentation and freight quotes.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with team members, vendors, customers, and other business partners.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently while also being a robust team player.
- A willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

What We Offer

- In-office position Monday to Thursday from 8:00am-4:45pm, Friday from 8:00am-3:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.
- Three weeks of vacation to start (prorated).
- Benefits are available after three months of employment. Premiums are cost-shared 50/50 from months 4-12, after which the company covers 100% of benefit premiums.
- Salary range: $55,000 - $55,000 annually.

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
