Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team on morning and or afternoon shift. This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring all production and plant equipment remains in safe, reliable working condition to support continuous manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all production and facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and perform intermediate electrical repairs.
- Maintain, repair, and service machinery across all departments.




- Fabricate parts and equipment from drawings as required.
- Assist in modifying or building new production equipment.
- Complete general welding and machine shop work.
- Accurately document maintenance activities and parts usage.
- Maintain clean, organized tools and workspaces.
- Follow all health and safety policies and report hazards or incidents.
- Collaborate with supervisors and production teams to minimize downtime.
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Carry out additional maintenance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; technical training or related experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform both electrical and mechanical repairs.
- Experience operating shop equipment and performing fabrication tasks.
- Welding experience is an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance documentation.
- Adaptable, reliable, and able to work independently on a night shift.
- Physically capable of performing the essential duties of the role.
- Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
