Compensation | $46,500–$49,500 base salary + bonus compensation

The opportunity The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are looking for a Manager, Groups & Business Development to grow group sales, new season memberships and other revenue-generating programs across TigerTown. You will develop business with companies, schools, youth sports, unions, community and newcomer groups, associations and employee-appreciation programs—turning outreach into qualified opportunities, relevant group concepts and strong game-day experiences. This role calls for a commercially minded relationship builder who leads through ownership, market knowledge and disciplined execution while working closely with the broader Ticket Sales & Service team.

What Success Looks Like

- Individual and Ticketing team revenue goals are achieved or exceeded across groups, season memberships, premium products and new business.
- A strong, qualified prospect base is established across Hamilton and the Greater Hamilton Area through data, outbound outreach, meetings and networking.




- New group themes and business-development programs create measurable revenue, attendance and relationship growth, supported by accurate pipeline and follow-up records in Salesforce.

What You’ll Own

- Drive group, recent season-membership and related new-business revenue through targeted prospecting, meetings, referrals and networking.
- Develop and execute group-sales strategies, themes and tailored experiences for business and community audiences.
- Meet or exceed weekly, monthly and quarterly revenue and prospecting goals across assigned products and programs.
- Represent the Tiger-Cats’ business-development efforts and build lasting relationships across TigerTown.
- Maintain disciplined CRM practices by recording every lead, source, touchpoint, commitment and follow-up in Salesforce.
- Collaborate with Group Sales, New Business and Ticket Operations colleagues to maximize opportunities and deliver transactions accurately.
- Represent the organization at sales, networking and community events to expand relationships and generate opportunities.
- Attend all Hamilton Tiger-Cats home games and support group activations, hospitality and other business-development initiatives.

How You’ll Work Reporting to the Director, Ticket Sales & Service, you will own a significant business-development portfolio and work closely with sales, ticket operations and game-day teams. The role combines independent market development with shared team goals and requires a consistent presence across Hamilton’s business, sport and community networks.

What You Bring

- Demonstrated sales experience with evidence of prospecting, building a qualified pipeline, closing business and achieving revenue goals.




- Strong knowledge of Hamilton and the Greater Hamilton Area, supported by relevant personal or professional relationships.
- The ability to develop group concepts and consultative solutions for different business and community audiences.
- Clear, confident communication and credibility in client, networking and internal settings.
- Strong organization, CRM discipline and sound judgment across a high volume of opportunities, events and deadlines.
- Reliable access to a vehicle.

Assets—not Requirements

- Experience in professional sport, live events or another ticketed, membership or customer-focused environment.
- Experience with Salesforce, Archtics or comparable CRM and ticketing platforms.
- Post-secondary education in business, marketing, sport administration or a related field—or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
