Reports to: Marketing Coordinator

HSR is looking for a creative, organized and detail oriented Marketing Assistant to support business to business marketing activities across HSR Services and HSR Zero Waste.

This position is a great opportunity for a final year student, recent graduate or early career marketing professional looking to build hands on experience across digital marketing, content creation, branding, website management, CRM support, analytics and campaign execution.

Working closely with the Marketing Coordinator, the Marketing Assistant will help maintain HSR's digital platforms, create engaging marketing content, support campaigns and contribute to consistent marketing activities across both divisions.

What You’ll Support

- Maintain content calendars and schedule approved social media content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, Bluesky, Reddit and other relevant platforms.
- Create and update marketing materials including brochures, presentations, advertisements, flyers, reports and case studies.
- Support website updates using WordPress and Elementor, including on page SEO and website optimization.
- Assist with email marketing, digital advertising and multichannel marketing campaigns.
- Track campaign performance,



identify trends and insights, and update dashboards and monthly marketing reports.
- Support CRM data entry, lead management, marketing documentation and data quality initiatives.
- Research industry trends, marketing opportunities and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Operations and People & Culture on marketing projects and campaigns.

What We’re Looking For

You are currently completing or have recently completed a diploma or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media or a related field.

You have strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, organization and time management skills, and are comfortable managing multiple priorities.

Experience or familiarity with social media marketing, Canva, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, WordPress, Elementor, SEO, email marketing, digital advertising (Google Ads), spreadsheets, marketing analytics or CRM platforms such as Zoho CRM is an asset.

Previous marketing, communications, administrative, internship or co op experience is also considered an asset.

Most importantly, you are creative, proactive,



eager to learn and comfortable working independently while collaborating with a cross functional team. An interest in sustainability, recycling, environmental services or corporate social responsibility is an asset.
