Riverton Co-op is hiring a Meat Cutter on a permanent basis, located on site in Riverton, MB.

We're looking for a customer-focused team member who takes pride in delivering quality products and exceptional service. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for fresh meat, fish, and seafood, we'd love to hear from you.

What you’ll do:

- Receive, inspect, store, and prepare meat, fish, and seafood products according to quality and food safety standards.
- Cut, fillet, trim, package, price, and merchandise products for sale using proper tools and equipment.
- Maintain inventory, rotate stock using FIFO practices, and complete required logs and records.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, provide product recommendations, and assist with special orders.
- Follow production plans to ensure displays are fully stocked, fresh, and visually appealing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including equipment maintenance and temperature monitoring.
- Support the training and development of current and existing team members as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Who you’ll work with: The Team: You will work closely with department clerks, meat cutter and retail manager to ensure the needs of customers is met and the department is welcoming.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

- You have 1 year of relevant meat-cutting experience.
- You have a Grade 12 education or equivalent
- You can lift up to 50lbs.
- You are committed to food safety, quality, cleanliness, and safe work practices.
- You are customer-focused, reliable, and able to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
