Qualifications:

Current registration with CMRITO

- Will hold liability insurance as defined by CMRITO
- Current IV Certification preferred
- Completion of a recognized CT course required

Skill, Ability and Experience:

- Recent related experience in various CT examinations including CT angiography and interventional procedures, or commitment to achieve required
- Demonstrated proficiency in IVs and/or completion of a recognized IV certification course, or commitment to achieve preferred
- Ability to work independently, apply critical thinking, problem solving, decision making, conflict resolution and prioritization skills required
- Basic proficiency in the use of computers required
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position required
- Experience in CT required
- Experience with electronic Health Information Systems preferred
- French Language Proficiency preferred

Principal Duties:

- Safely operates equipment to produce optimum images in accordance with CMRITO Standards of Practice at all Bluewater Health sites
- Ensures quality images are obtained and transmitted to PACS for distribution as required
- Participates in unit/department and Hospital Quality Improvement initiatives
- Completes continuing education requirements as necessary
- Other related duties as assigned
