Location: Niagara Falls to Burlington & surrounding areas, with occasional travel beyond

Job Type: Part-time / Casual, with opportunity for increased hours

Pay: $20.00–$30.00 per hour

Schedule: Flexible availability; weekdays and weekends as required

About The Steel Neals The Steel Neals is a growing moving and removal company serving Niagara Falls, the Niagara Region, Hamilton, Burlington, and surrounding areas, with occasional jobs extending beyond our regular service area.

We provide residential moving, packing, junk removal, and real estate staging/destaging services. We pride ourselves on providing reliable, professional service while taking care of our customers, their belongings, and their homes.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking to add reliable, hardworking, and professional Movers/Drivers to our team.

The Role

As a Mover/Driver, you’ll work as part of a small crew completing residential moves, packing jobs, junk removals, deliveries, and staging and destaging for residential real estate sales.

Our staging work includes working directly with professional home stagers and real estate agents to safely transport, place, and remove furniture, décor, and staging equipment from properties.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding role involving loading and unloading trucks, safely handling customers’ belongings and staging inventory, and providing professional service at homes and job sites.

Depending on the job and your experience, you may also be responsible for driving rental or company moving trucks between locations.

Responsibilities

- Safely load, transport, and unload furniture, boxes, appliances, and other household items




- Protect customers’ belongings and property throughout the moving process
- Work alongside home stagers and real estate agents to efficiently complete residential staging and destaging jobs
- Load, transport, place, and remove furniture, décor, and staging equipment
- Complete junk removal, loading, and disposal jobs
- Assist with packing and unpacking when required
- Properly use moving equipment including dollies, straps, moving blankets, and ramps
- Safely operate moving and rental trucks when assigned
- Follow secure lifting, loading, load-securement, and general work practices
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, stagers, agents, and other crew members
- Keep trucks, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
- Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled jobs
- Travel to jobs throughout Niagara Falls to Burlington and occasionally beyond

Requirements
- Valid Ontario G2 driver’s licence or higher is required
- Reliable transportation to designated meeting/job locations
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout a shift
- Able to safely lift and carry heavy and bulky items (up to 80-100lbs), with assistance when appropriate
- Professional and respectful when working in customers’ homes and businesses
- Able to follow instructions and work safely




- Flexible availability, including some weekends
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Assets
- Experience or knowledge driving moving/rental trucks up to 26 feet
- Previous moving or delivery experience
- Experience operating larger vehicles
- Experience with furniture handling, loading, and load securement
- Previous construction, landscaping, warehouse, furniture delivery, or other physically demanding work

Previous moving experience is an asset but is not required. Training will be provided to the right candidates.

Compensation & Growth

- $20.00-$30.00/hour
- Starting wage will be determined following orientation and an initial assessment of performance in the role
- Reliability, work ethic, physical capability, safety awareness, teamwork, and demonstrated knowledge of the job will be considered when determining starting wage and future increases
