Hypha Farms Ltd. is seeking a hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented Mushroom Production & General Labourer to join our growing team. This position involves a variety of tasks related to mushroom cultivation, greenhouse production, harvesting, packaging, sanitation, and general farm operations. The ideal candidate is comfortable performing physically demanding work, following detailed instructions, maintaining high hygiene standards, and adapting to changing daily priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with mushroom substrate preparation and production activities.
- Fill, move, stack, and transport substrate bags, materials, and equipment.
- Harvest, package, label, and prepare products for distribution.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, tools, equipment, and production rooms according to company procedures.
- Assist with greenhouse, growing, harvesting, and post-harvest activities as required.
- Operate equipment safely and responsibly following training.




- Maintain accurate records and complete production logs when required.
- Monitor work areas for cleanliness, safety hazards, and quality concerns.
- Support general farm maintenance and other operational duties as assigned.
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

This position involves physically demanding work and candidates must be able to:

- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Stand, walk, bend, crouch, twist, and reach throughout the workday.
- Work in warm, humid, dusty, or outdoor environments depending on assigned duties.
- Push, pull, and move carts, racks, and production materials.
- Maintain productivity during physically demanding shifts.

Hygiene & Food Safety Requirements

As a food production facility, maintaining strict hygiene standards is essential.

Employees must

- Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) provided.
- Wash and sanitize hands as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Report contamination risks, equipment issues, or safety concerns immediately.




- Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Preventive Control Plan (PCP) requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Previous farm, greenhouse, warehouse, manufacturing, or food production experience is considered an asset but is not required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Adaptability & Flexibility

Due to the nature of agricultural production, daily duties may change based on crop requirements, production schedules, seasonal demands, and operational priorities. Employees must be willing to perform a variety of tasks and adapt to changing responsibilities throughout the workday.

Employees may be assigned duties outside their normal routine and are expected to approach new tasks with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Flexibility and cooperation are essential to maintaining efficient farm operations.

Pay: $15.95-$22.00 per hour
