: Reporting to the Care Team Manager the Resident Care Coordinator is responsible for supporting the highest standard of care and service provision to residents living on a given neighborhood. As an experienced practitioner, the resident care coordinator acts in a leadership role to provide specialized clinical expertise, coordination of resident care, and provide support and teaching to the resident care team (including residents and residents¿ families) within a collaborative setting. The routine procedures are generally predetermined but critical thinking and independent judgment is an integral part of the position.

Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years relevant long term care nursing experience
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Licenses
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Other Education and Training
- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
