Fastening House Atlantic is a locally owned and operated industrial supply company chartering to the construction industry in Atlantic Canada. We currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team.
Duties:
Shipping/Receiving
Incoming Shipments
Check Receipt (Report to Purchaser any discrepancy)
Receive P.O. in computer
Generate Receiving Report
Pull Back Orders to Ship
Sorting stock to correct locations
Outgoing Shipments
Prepare all outgoing Shipments
Coordinate deliveries and pick ups
Inventory Control
Incoming Product put in appropriate Bin Locations
Bin Location Control in Computer
Stock Level Control - Watching stock levels from outgoing sales and communicating with purchasing.
Requires understanding of computer inventory system
Report dead stock to Manager.
The ideal candidate would also possess the following:
An outgoing personality - Solid customer service skills
Excellent attention to detail - Pervious warehouse handling experience would be considered an asset
Competent with computers and various
operating systems - Ability to do moderate lifting up to 50 lbs
Certified forklift operator - Above average organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills - Willingness to go the extra mile.
