Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and ensuring optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with various tools and machinery, and excellent customer service skills. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with diverse automotive and industrial repair tasks.

Duties
Perform diagnostics and repairs on passenger vehicles
Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and system inspections
Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic equipment to identify issues and execute repairs accurately
Operate heavy equipment safely when required for repairs or testing purposes
Repair or replace electrical components, mechanical parts, and hydraulic systems as needed
Follow safety protocols to ensure a protected working environment for all team members
Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines

Skills




Proven experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic with dealership background preferred
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems and electrical systems is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work with various maintenance tools
Solid troubleshooting skills with the ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
Excellent customer service skills to explain repairs clearly and professionally
Experience working with industrial equipment or assembly processes is advantageous
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $18.00-$35.00 per hour

Education:
AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Experience:
Automotive repair: 1 year (required)
