MOLD DESIGNER (CIMATRON)

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has a Senior Mold Designer role in Windsor/Essex, with experience in plastic injection mold design, for the automotive industry. MUST have experience using Cimatron design software and have a valid drivers’ license and your own transportation.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
4+ years work experience in mold design of automotive plastic injection molds
Complete full plastic injection mold designs
Experience in conducting feasibility studies
MUST be proficient using Cimatron CAD software
MUST have some Surfacing experience
Provide technical input during tool builds, trials and validation
Experience reading blueprints and engineering drawings




Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
MUST have a valid drivers’ license and your own reliable transportation

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool Design or related field

HOURLY RANGE:
Pays up to $36/hr DOE
