For over 30 years, Condus Electric Ltd. has been a trusted electrical contractor serving institutional, commercial, and industrial clients across the GTA and Greater Hamilton Area. We're expanding our team and seeking a skilled 3rd- to 5th-year electrical apprentice to join us.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a 3rd- to 5th-year Electrical Apprentice to build hands-on experience across diverse institutional, commercial, and industrial projects while working under the guidance of experienced licensed electricians.

This is a field-focused role with real training and advancement built in.

The Role
In the field: Build your skills under the guidance of experienced electricians — reading electrical blueprints, running pipe, pulling wire, installing lighting, and completing rough-ins
Install, maintain, and repair electrical distribution and lighting systems
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards

Responsibilities
Learn from and assist our experienced electricians
Help troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment
Attend routine and on-demand service requests
Support management with project estimating and administrative tasks as needed

Requirements




Registered 3rd-, 4th-, or 5th-year electrical apprentice, currently enrolled in an apprenticeship program
Basic understanding of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code
Basic electrical troubleshooting ability
Clear and effective communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (required for site travel)
Availability for shift work, on-call, and emergency callouts
Strict adherence to health and safety policies

Assets
Prior commercial or industrial project experience
Customer service experience and a solid sense of urgency on service calls

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
