Job Summary

Looking for an experienced full time or part time Medical Office Assistant Manager to join Our team at Mississauga Medical Clinic in Mississauga.

Job Duties:
Act as first point of contact for patients who visit the clinic.
Patient encounters: greeting, validating health cards, obtaining demographic information
Greet patients in a welcoming and professional manner
Scheduling appointments
Receive and direct all incoming calls via telephone and voice mail in a timely and professional manner
Receive and route messages or documents such as laboratory results and reports
Document processing; faxing, mailing, scanning, and data entry
Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality in all patient-related transaction
Other duties as required

Requirements:
Diploma of Medical Office Administration
at least 1 years of experience in a medical administration role
Fluent in English
Knowledge of office procedures and medical terminology




Experience working with electronic medical record systems, EMR (i.e. OSCAR) would be ideal
Excellent computer skills with typing speed of minimum 20 words/min
Flexibility and ability to adjust to changing demands
Ability to maintain client and Centre confidentiality
Exceptional organizational, time management and prioritization skills
Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations in a calm manner
Follow and maintain proper covid-19 protocol

Phlebotomy Technician Certificate is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Part time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
