We are seeking a Part-Time Clinical Assistant to join our busy clinic in Waterloo.

Availability for:
Tuesdays 4 pm - 8 pm
Wednesdays 4 pm- 8 pm
Thursdays 4pm-8pm
Other Shifts As Needed (Covering Vacation, Sick Days, Clinic Need, Etc)

Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Cleaning and set up of the treatment rooms, sterilization of instruments, and maintaining podiatric equipment
Facilitating clinic work flow by bringing patients to rooms and communicating with practitioners and other staff members
Assisting with therapeutic modalities (i.e, shockwave, ultrasound, laser)
Assisting with the proper set up of rooms for routine and surgical procedures
Answering the phones and emails, confirming next-day appointments
Maintaining and updating patient records, scanning documents into patient files
Ordering supplies and receiving incoming shipments
Scheduling appointments and maintaining practitioner schedules
Greeting and signing in patients when they enter the clinic
Managing billing for patients and their insurance companies
Other duties as required

Ability to work well under pressure and in a rapid-paced environment
Willingness to perform a wide variety of duties
Proficient in computer and technology use including Microsoft Office, emails, scanners, printers, etc.
