Job Summary

This is an Owner Operator / Fleet Operator prospect. The successful candidate is responsible for providing and managing their own delivery vehicles and drivers/employees and overseeing the complete day-to-day delivery operation.

Responsibilities/key points
Own/manage delivery vehicles — cargo vans, minivans, or other approved vehicles.
Recruit and manage drivers/employees — hiring, scheduling, training, attendance and performance.
Manage daily routes — dispatching drivers, assigning routes and ensuring pickups/deliveries are completed.
Vehicle responsibility — maintenance, repairs, inspections, insurance and keeping vehicles road-ready.
Parcel operations — loading/unloading, scanning, tracking and handling packages properly.
Driver compliance — ensure all drivers have valid licences, insurance and required documentation.




Customer service — handle delivery issues, missed deliveries, customer concerns and operational problems.
Performance management — monitor delivery completion, productivity, safety and service quality.
Adaptable operations — ability to handle changing parcel volumes and additional routes.
Business mindset — responsible for operating the delivery fleet efficiently and profitably.
Technology — smartphone/GPS and ability to use delivery/route-management applications.
Experience — previous courier, parcel delivery, logistics, fleet management or transportation experience preferred.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
