MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR 8 HRS/DAY, 40 HRS/WEEK, BETWEEN MONDAY - SUNDAY FROM 9AM - 7PM
MUST HAVE A VEHICLE AN A CLASS 5F LICENSE.

Job Summary

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) supports individuals living with developmental and intellectual disabilities as well as mental illness. Their primary responsibility is to assist individuals develop independent living skills, connect with resources, provide support and social interaction and be a positive role model.

Direct Support Professionals will also work closely with program management to observe, plan, implement and execute programs and activities that promote personal achievement and encourage learning and development in daily living within the community.

Preference will be given to DSP’s with experience working with individuals who have experience working with people who have aggressive tendencies and/or struggle with addictions.

Position Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Updated resume.
Must have a minimum education of Grade 10 diploma or equivalent.
Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
Must have strong interpersonal skills.
Must have their own vehicle and a Class 5F License.

Position Benefits:

Position Salary Range: $16.50 - $18.50 /hr
