The Resident Support Worker (RSW) provides personal care, companionship, and daily living support to residents while promoting their dignity, independence, comfort, and safety.
Responsibilities
Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Support residents with meals, hydration, and activities of daily living.
Monitor and report changes in resident condition.
Administer or assist with medications as permitted by training and policy.
Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
Provide companionship and encourage participation in social and recreational activities.
Maintain a clean, secure, and welcoming workplace.
Work collaboratively with residents, families, and team members.
Qualifications
Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate or relevant experience preferred.
Experience working with seniors is an asset.
Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
Robust communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
