Veterinary Assistant / Receptionist – Part-Time

Position Details

Job Type: Part-Time, Permanent

Responsibilities
Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner.
Schedule appointments and manage daily appointment bookings.
Answer phones and respond to client inquiries regarding patient care, services, and appointments.
Maintain accurate medical records and client information.
Process payments and handle client transactions.
Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient handling and basic animal care duties.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the clinic.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and their pets.

Qualifications




Skilled experience handling animals in a veterinary setting is required.
Previous veterinary reception or assistant experience is considered an asset.
Experience using AVImark is preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent patient and client care.

Schedule
Part-time hours
8-hour shifts
Monday to Friday
