Duties
Install, test, and commission fire alarm systems according to blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes
Diagnose and repair system malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime
Read and interpret detailed construction drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
Conduct routine inspections of fire alarm sensors, control panels, power supplies, and low voltage wiring
Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper integration of fire alarm systems during building phases
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized testing equipment to perform system upgrades or modifications
Document all service activities thoroughly in reports and maintenance logs for compliance purposes





Qualifications
Proven experience reading blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams related to fire alarm systems
Strong construction background with hands-on experience in installing or maintaining fire safety systems
Electrical experience with knowledge of low voltage wiring and circuitry
Mechanical knowledge of sensors, control panels, and related hardware components
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment necessary for installation and troubleshooting
Familiarity with building codes, safety standards, and regulations governing fire alarm systems
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
