Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Fabrication Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will oversee the coordination of fabrication activities, ensuring seamless communication between production and supply chain. Your expertise will help optimize workflow, maintain production schedules, and ensure the timely delivery of fabricated components. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, ERP systems, and supply chain management to support operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Essential Functions
Generate and publish work order bills of material.
Program a variety of equipment and machinery.
Calculate break metal flat patterns using provided work order sketches.
Optimize and create sheet stock cut layouts.
Coordinate inventory requests, internal transfers and purchases.
Work with the Fabrication Scheduler to allocate and coordinate resources to meet schedule deadlines.
Monitor and maintain the work order system.
Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.

Requirements

Previous fabricating experience in a manufacturing environment is required.



Ability to read and interpret blueprints (shop drawings). Strong mechanical, math and measurement based skills. High school diploma and intermediate level computer skills required.
