Details:

This position is based near Leduc, AB. This is a project-based position, with a 24 Days on - 4 days off rotation schedule, 12 Hour Shifts, 7 days a week

No LOA is provided for this project

Duties:

This position will be responsible for the following duties but not limited to:
Operate the Scraper in successive passes over construction surface to raise or lower terrain to specified grade, following markings on grade stakes or hand signals.
Experience with Push Cat Process
Experience with cut fill and lot grading of Scraper
Long Pull Type of Scraper must be able to manoeuvre in small areas
Ensure scraper is in proper gear and is not moving too quick for working conditions.
Capable of operating Pull Scraper behind the Rock Truck
Must have proven ability to work in congested areas
Experience Operating 40t Articulating Truck with pull behind Pull Scraper
Operate and maintain equipment in a protected and effective manner.




Carry out minor maintenance and inspection for equipment and reporting any deficiencies.
Ability to work as a team and take direction.
Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:
Possess 1+ years experience.
Must pass a competency test on specified equipment.
Experience operating different heavy equipment is considered an asset.
Must Have a Valid class 5 driver’s license
