Role & Responsibilities:
Operate AZ (manual transmission & Automatic) as assigned
Transport materials utilizing most efficient routes.
Ensure safety and security of cargo.
Professional presentation and interaction with internal and external customers.
Accurate completion of driver logbook.
Accurate completion of Inspection reports (pre-trip, enroute, post-trip).
Customer-focused and pro-active problem-solving approach
Other transportation duties as assigned by manager.

Requirements:
Minimum of two (2) years of Roll-off and Lugger experience




Pup trailer experience considered an asset
Valid Class A License with Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
Have a CVOR and Drivers Abstract with no demerit points and/or reported incidents.
Completion of required training: Health & Safety, WHMIS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods
Experience with 13 and/or 18 speed manual transmission.
Possess a proven ability to demonstrate qualified communication skills (verbal and written) with a positive attitude.
Working at heights may be required and training will be provided.
Confident decision making within skills and abilities.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required.

Our fleet of roll-off trucks are no older than year 2020 and are all automatic transmission with automatic tarping systems.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
