Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier and Kitchen Helper to join our vibrant pizzeria team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service, ensuring smooth kitchen operations, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong organizational skills, and a positive attitude to enhance our guests' dining experience.

Duties
Greet customers warmly and handle all cashiering responsibilities using Micros POS or similar systems
Take customer orders accurately and process payments with cash handling skills
Assist in food preparation, including assembling pizzas and other menu items following food safety and sanitation standards
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sanitation of surfaces and proper food handling procedures
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure productive kitchen operations
Upsell menu items to increase sales and promote specials or recent products
Ensure timely service by managing time effectively during busy periods
Support serving customers in the dining area when necessary,



providing excellent customer service throughout their visit

Qualifications
Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, especially in food preparation, cashiering, or serving roles
Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices in a restaurant setting
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Positive time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
