Overview. MATERNITY LEAVE COVERAGE
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. Your ability to multitask and maintain a friendly demeanor will be essential in creating a welcoming workplace for both clients and their pets.

Duties
Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism upon arrival.
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and confidential.
Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
Assist veterinary staff with laboratory tasks as needed, including sample collection and preparation.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.




Provide clients with educational materials about pet care and clinic services.

Qualifications
Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred but not required.
Robust communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Proficiency in using computer systems for scheduling and record management.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for managing multiple tasks.
A background or knowledge in laboratory procedures is a plus.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining a positive attitude.
A passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing excellent client service.
