The Rubinet Faucet Company has been building luxury faucets, tub fillers, and shower systems in Concord, Ontario since 1982. We're a family-owned Canadian manufacturer of solid brass fixtures finished in chrome, PVD, and specialty finishes, and our parts are polished, plated, assembled, and inspected here, not offshore.

This is not an entry-level role. We're looking for someone who can read a part, select the right wheel and compound, and produce a plating-ready finish without coaching.

What you'll do
Polish and buff cast and machined brass to a defect-free finish ready for plating or PVD coating
Work the full sequence: cutting down, deburring, colouring, final finish
Produce consistent satin, brushed, and mirror finishes across a production lot
Hold crisp edges and detail features without washing out geometry
Identify porosity, pits, and tool marks, and know what can be saved
Select and dress wheels, change compounds, maintain your station

What we're looking for
3+ years of production polishing on brass, bronze, zinc, or stainless
Real command of wheel and compound selection: sisal, spiral sewn, loose cotton, greaseless, tripoli, and rouge
Experience finishing parts for electroplating or vacuum coating, where defects are unforgiving
Steady quality at production rate,

Comfortable on your feet in a warm, dusty workplace wearing required PPE
The position is full time, with shifts scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Shift times may vary depending on workload and business needs.

Assets: robotic polishing cell experience; ability to train others; decorative hardware, faucet, or architectural finishing background.

Our process: Shortlisted candidates complete a paid practical assessment at our facility using real parts, our equipment, and a finish standard. If you can polish, you'll do well.

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
