We are currently seeking a Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment and crushing plant components, with a strong focus on conveyor systems and related equipment.

Pay Rate: $40-$49/hour

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and crushing plant machinery
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on conveyors, crushers, screeners, and related equipment
Repair and replace conveyor belts, rollers, bearings, motors, pulleys, and hydraulic components
Conduct mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting
Complete field and shop repairs as required
Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently to minimize downtime
Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation




Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to prioritize repairs
Follow all company safety procedures and industry regulations

Qualifications & Requirements
Certified Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician required
conveyor system experience is asset
Experience with conveyors, loaders, excavators, and heavy equipment maintenance
Solid mechanical and troubleshooting abilities
Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
Ability to work independently and within a team workplace
Valid driver’s license required
Welding and fabrication experience considered an asset
