We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing and recording invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely payment of obligations. The Accounts Payable Specialist will work closely with internal departments and external vendors to resolve issues and maintain positive relationships. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial software, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
· Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
· Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation, and resolve any discrepancies or variances.
· Code and enter invoices into the accounting system, ensuring proper allocation of expenses to the correct accounts.
· Reconcile vendor statements and address any billing or payment discrepancies in a timely manner.
· Maintain accurate vendor records, including contact information, payment terms, and tax identification numbers.
· Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals and resolve invoice or payment-related issues.
· Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and accruals.
· Respond to vendor inquiries and provide outstanding customer service while maintaining professional and courteous communication.
· Assist with other accounting and finance tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
· Proven experience working in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
· Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Business Central/PowerBI), Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
· Solid understanding of accounts payable principles and general accounting procedures.
· Robust attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent data entry and analytical skills

Pay: $43,000.00-$46,000.00 per year
