Responsibilities
Safely operate school bus along designated morning and afternoon routes, Monday to Friday, adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols at all times.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical safety and readiness, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels.
Assist students boarding and exiting the bus, ensuring proper behavior and safety procedures are followed.
Communicate clearly with students, parents and school staff to coordinate schedules and address any concerns promptly.
Maintain a friendly,



qualified attitude that promotes a positive experience for students.
Follow all state and local regulations related to commercial driving and student transportation.
Keep accurate records of routes, incidents, maintenance issues, and student attendance when required.

Experience
Prior 1 year experience working as a school bus driver is highly valued.
Valid Class B commercial driver’s license required
Mechanical knowledge or experience performing basic vehicle inspections is advantageous.
Bilingual skills in Punjabi and English are a robust plus, enabling effective communication with parents and students.
Demonstrated communication skills to interact confidently with students, parents, school staff.
A clean driving record and commitment to safety are essential for success in this role.
