Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Chef with a strong background in Guyanese-Chinese cuisine to join our team. We are looking for a skilled and disciplined individual who can deliver authentic flavours, maintain consistency, and operate efficiently in a high-volume kitchen environment.
Duties
Prepare and execute dishes within Guyanese-Chinese cuisine
Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning
Assist with menu development and specialty dishes
Ensure cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
Work efficiently during high-volume service periods
Collaborate with kitchen management and team members
Requirements
Proven experience cooking Guyanese-Chinese cuisine
Solid knowledge of traditional flavours, techniques, and ingredients
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
Robust work ethic and attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Job Types: Full time, Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
