Schedule: Wednesday through Monday
Hours: 1 hour in the morning + 1 hour in the evening
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide personal care and wound-care support for a 65-year-old client recovering from a serious perineal wound following a lengthy hospitalization and surgery.
The client also has a shoulder injury/fracture that makes certain personal-care tasks difficult to manage independently.
Responsibilities
Provide wound care and dressing changes for a healing perineal wound.
Assist with cleaning and maintaining the wound area as required.
Provide personal hygiene support, including assistance after bowel movements.
Monitor the wound and recovery progress and report any concerns appropriately.
Assist with daily hygiene needs related to the client’s recovery.
Provide respectful, compassionate care during sensitive personal-care tasks.
Follow appropriate nursing and infection-control practices.
Requirements
Valid RN or LPN license in Alberta.
Previous experience with wound care is strongly preferred.
Experience providing personal hygiene and sensitive personal care.
Comfortable providing care involving a perineal wound.
Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable.
Robust attention to hygiene, safety, and infection-control procedures.
Reliable and punctual.

Criminal Record Check (must be issued within the last 3 months)
