Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our facilities through diligent cleaning and basic maintenance duties.

Duties
Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
Conduct commercial cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal
Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance
Assist with basic facilities maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, reporting repairs needed, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and stored properly




Follow safety procedures during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries
Respond promptly to special cleaning requests or spillages to maintain a secure environment

Experience
Prior experience in cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus
Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks is advantageous
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards
Robust attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment

Job Types: Full time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $15.00-$15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
