Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable experience. You will play a vital role in maintaining the bar's cleanliness and adhering to food safety standards.
Duties
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as necessary.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when applicable.
Assist in training current staff members on bartending techniques and customer service best practices.
Experience
Previous bartending experience is preferred ; willingness to learn is essential.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests in a rapid-paced setting.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
Experience in cash handling and cashiering is beneficial.
Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods.
A background in food service or restaurant operations is an advantage.
