Direct Environmental Drilling Inc. is currently seeking experienced Environmental & Geotechnical Drillers to join its team. DED Inc. is looking for drillers with minimum 2 years experience operating Direct Push or Conventional Rotary Rigs. They will have a valid DZ license in good standing and a Class 1 or 3 Well Technician License. Must be willing to work out-of-town and work in all of Ontario's climates. They must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Driller will be responsible for:
conducting Daily Pre-Task Health and Safety Meetings
conducting Daily Truck and Equipment Checklist
loading equipment, tooling and material for drilling projects
transporting equipment and tooling to drilling location and following all rules and regulations outlined by the MTO
conducting environmental and geotechnical drilling programs (i.e. soil sampling, monitoring well installation, monitoring well decommissions, monitoring well repairs, etc.)
cleaning and maintaining equipment and tooling
assisting with maintenance and repairing of drilling equipment
completing all work related documents and submitting in a timely fashion
Qualifications and Skills
Qualified individuals must have:
2 years drilling experience (Direct Push or Conventional Rotary Rig)
valid DZ class license in good standing
Class 1 or 3 Well Technician License
