Job Summary:
West Coast Pre Fab is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding components to assemble various structures. The ideal candidate will have welding experience and have completed their C Level or higher. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
Set up welding equipment and select the appropriate welding technique based on the project requirements
Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
Inspect welds for accuracy and quality assurance
Perform basic machining tasks such as drilling, grinding, and cutting
Use hand tools and power tools to fabricate and assemble metal parts
Operate a forklift to move materials and finished products as needed

Skills:
Proficient in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings




Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes
Familiarity with using hand tools and power tools for metalworking tasks
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

Standard Day Shift Schedule:
8 hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Shift time 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed

Standard Afternoon Shift Schedule:
10 hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Shift time 3:30PM - 1:30 AM
Monday to Thursday
Weekends as needed
