Duties
Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
Provide excellent customer service by engaging positively with clients during deliveries and pickups
Perform heavy lifting tasks safely, utilizing proper techniques and equipment to handle cargo
Communicate clearly with dispatchers, team members, and clients to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance standards are met
Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring accuracy and care during handling




Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents or irregularities

Qualifications
Over 30 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating deep industry knowledge and expertise
Proven ability in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, qualified demeanor
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various conditions
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members, clients, and management
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to transportation and cargo handling
Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and physically demanding tasks
